mobile

Mobile ki taraf dekhkar,
Manhiman muskare rahe ho,
Woh  haseen lamhe sochkar ,
Duniya ko bhula  rahe ho.

Mobile se jeevna me,
Aayee hai anokhi rangat,
bheed ki tanhayee me,
Mili hai ek suhani sangat.

Mobile hai mitata dooriyan,
Khilata hai pyaar ki kahaniyaan,
Ab nahi rahi koi majbooriyan,
Phaili hai charon taraf khushiyan.

Destress the Public Transport System-use bicycles

Destress the Public Transport System-use bicycles

In all cities of India , we see the common picture of heavy load on the public transport system. The rush of the crowd makes life look miserable. One practical solution to this problem is the use of bicycle/s by students above class 7th .This will definitely decongest the public transport system.Bicycles are cheap and is an efficient mode of transport upto 10 kms. All office going people too who have their offices within 10 km periphery should use bicycle. This will lead to saving of time, money, energy and will serve as a sort of exercise. One can see abundant use of bicycles in Amsterdam and Europe.

Benefits of using bicycles:
  • ·         Saving of time
  • ·         Low level of initial cost, low maintenance
  • ·         No use of petrol hence no pollution and no problem of price rise of petroleum products
  • ·         Good for health

poem_ dilemma

Dilemma
Its was time to decide,
Yet I took no side,
Life’s clock was running,
Within inside I was burning.

Today, I realized my mistake,
For I lost my entire stake,
My indecision gave no benefit,
And I  find myself a total misfit.

Strong decisions need courage,
Never before I felt I Had it in shortage,
Till I was entrapped in this situation,
Dilemma is my conclusion.

cher diplomat

Cher Diplomat
Oh my cher diplomat
For you, the globe is flat,
you move like a gypsy
Yet you are everybody’s fantasy.

You report the international unrest
You protect the national interest,
You protest against malice
You negotiate for our just slice.

You live away from the motherland
Your family adjusts in foreignland,
Sometimes its sand sometimes its ice
Yet you always try to be nice.
Endowed with privileges and immunities
You withstand temptations and opportunities,
It’s difficult to represent great nations
For one has to fulfill many expectations.

La Botella in Cuba

La Botella in Cuba

La Botella- Botella is a Spanish word for bottle. But in Cuba it means a lift. The public Transport system in cuba is very poor. Everyday one can see beautiful young girls standing in the road side asking for ‘a botella’. Men (young and not so young!!) are more than pleased to offer a botella.

People have to wait for an hour or more to get the bus. China has Supplied about 700 Yongton buses to Cuba. 500 more buses would arrive by December 2007. The cost of a bus ticket is about 40 cubano centavos –equivalent to 80 Indian paise.Taxi service is very costly. Special Cubano share taxis costs about 10 cubano pesos .

FIVE Things I Like of Cuba

FIVE Things I Like of Cuba

1) All are equal. Whether you are a Pilot or a Clerk, A Doctor or a Compounder- you get the same salary.

2) Education, Medical is free.

3) The longest free BAR in the world -MALECON is in Cuba

4) SALSA, SUGAR, SOCIALISM, SEX, SUN N SAND is abundant.

5) Every Problem in Cuba can be ‘RESOLVED’.

Colourful Number Plates in Cuba

2) Blue- Government
3) Yellow- Cuban Nationals
4) Orange-Commercial Firm and Employees
5) Red- Lost Number Plate
6) Brown- Tourist
7) Green- Military

'Jugaad Technology ' in Cuba

'Jugaad Technology ' in Cuba
After the fall of the USSR, Cuban Economy suffered heavily. They had a tough life with availability of essential goods and services. This time frame in the 1990s is called as the Special Period in Cuba.

Due to lack of spareparts and ther goods each Cuban has evolved into an expert motor mechanic, electrician and technician. It is a very common scene to see a cuban repairing something in front of his house-a mixer or a vehicle . Jugaad(the Indian Term to resolve things) is at its peak in cuba from anything to using a LADA engine fro MERCEDES BENZ, using a small motor to run the bicycle on mechanical power or making wooden boats to face the brunt of the mighty sea etc etc.

Everything in Cuba can 'be resolved' with the intelligence and strong character of the cuban people.

Nobody is Old

Nobody is Old

In Latin America and the Carribean the concept of age has a different meaning. In this region nobody is old. Everyone is young at heart . Be it a 70+ or otherwise he/she will dress and maintain himself /herself like a teenager. I have seen in Mexico city and in Havana, that even a lady as old as 75 will dress like RedRidingHood and will never shy to shake her legs when he/

This is the way one should be be. Live Life to the fullest extent with enjoyment and peace of mind.
